Hi, just wanna ask , when i start to play in beta, will my char be deleted when the game closes beta ? or is it possible to play the beta charackter in the final game stadium too?

âWe arenât planning on deleting characters. However, currently all saves are offline so they canât be trusted and transferred to the multiplayer environment. This means that everyone will have to start fresh when multiplayer goes live. We are also planning on doing cycles, much like PoE leagues or D3 seasons. The first of which will start on day 1 of launch. This will also be an effective âwipeâ. We do plan on having a âstandard leagueâ where characters from past cycles will still be playable.â

Ok and why should player be motivated , when they have to start all 3 month again at point 0?!.
I mean there is no reason to punish active players every 3 month by forcing them to start completly new charackter, only to get access to new featuresâŚ

After 2000 hours of Path of Exile and after many seasons of Diablo 3 Iâm used to playing like this.
But youâre right, not everyone likes it this way.
PoE have season, same Diablo 3 and Diablo IV will be in this way because:

Keep in mind. The developers have stated that the new cycle content will drop for both the âstandardâ and new cycle simultaneously. You could just ignore the new cycle and play with the new content and never make a new character.

Sorry for reask. So the beta chars will be standard league chars, and every standard leeague char gets acces to new features, like season chars do aswell? So whats the difference for season chars and standard league chars?
Leaderboards mostly, and the trade mechanics are relegated to that league only.
So something like:
Season 1: feature A
Season 2: feature A + feature B
Season 3: feature A + B + C
As if the game were âa train that gets a new carriage every seasonâ

Sorry, I meant trade is within leagues, as in you cannot trade between the league and the standard cycle.
