Seriously, why? give them dual sceptre, swords, even daggers… just something. every single other class in the game can dual wield, just not necro.
It doesn’t make thematic sense to us for a necromancer to have the dexterity to dualwield, nor does that kind of hyper-aggressive melee combat style match the Necromancer’s ability set. It’s not the only case of this: Warlock, Shaman, Druid, Sorcerer, and Runemaster also don’t have the ability to dualwield for the same reasons. If you can make a good argument as to why it may be thematically appropriate, we’re always open to consider suggestions.
I was more thinking of acolyte in general. All primalist classes can dual wield since it is in the primalist tree. I had forgotten with the rework lich got it. A necro with a dagger as an offhand would also make sense but i guess because of limitations of the game they couldnt use a wand but even with another mainhand a dagger would not be a far fetch as they (thematically) would use it as a sacrificial dagger. The more I think about it i can understand why it is not.
Lich can now dual wield with the Executioner passive.
Um, isn’t dual wield for Primalists in the base passive?
Woops, right you are sorry. For some reason my brain remembered it being in the Beast Master tree at the moment. ![]()
