You know I’ve been thinking about this and thematically while I love the scorpion for beastmaster I feel like it would benefit more from a Vine Snake type of creature. Then you could have more interesting interactions for Beastmaster with vines, like turning them into permanent vine snakes or them using serpent strike skill tree for the vine snakes bite attack, they could also have an ability to “swarm” an enemy and root it for a few seconds by wrapping around their legs but they lose 20% of their attack speed.
