That snakes that always have “nearby allies take less damage” aura, especially when there are 3-5 of them on screen, even worse when stacked with tanky echo mods. Try to focus them, when they have a pack of 50 unkillable mobs around them. They are tanky by themselves too.
Got nothing to do with difficulty or actually playing the game… but…
Winged Carrion Snake - gives me the ick.
Sacred Bloom - its like a scary stepmom - it can find you wherever you hide.
The orbital laser snakes.
Sirens(?). Attack them and they go like ‘whee, let me just spin backwards for about 1 screen away’. I don’t like running after mobs.
The newly added siege plants. Those that spawn the green circles. Just let me know the direction where they are shooting from and its fine, but now they are anywhere within 2-3(?) screen radius.
COVENENT OF DOMINION…the current ambush that spawns TWO of them is ABSOLUTE AIDS. If you have any damage mod on the mono…yeah. This enemy needs a nerf
Scalebane Sabotuer. Attack instantly and simultaneously as they appear because they agro’d you off screen around a corner and then hit for all your HP. Can also easily chain-combo wipe you because they attack fast enough and their hits stun in some instances.
Nah, you just need to keep moving when they charge up their fire dot thing.
I think this Ambush boss is unbalanced.
Considering the same modifiers from a given echo and taking some nasty modifiers from these echoes, the 2 covenants presents more threat than some of the big bosses. It’s one of the hardest fights I can think In the moment, very difficult to engage one of them, running from the other. I just can’t remember if this observation is from before the first nerf they brought to them. It has been a while since I engaged them doing 500to 1000 corruption.
I’m not against difficulty, but I just don’t think they fit well the place they were put in their current state right now. Also I don’t like them being scarier than the gods of Eterra

It used to be those snakes that gives damage reduction to allies, but the saboteur assumed first spot as my nemesis.
Anything that won’t stand still and let me kill it! Twirling sirens, backflipping scalebanes, etc.
The annoying scalebane assassins that aggro from 2 screens away then suddenly appear backstabbing you with hits that each give you like 10 poison stacks each. As a minionmancer those things are BS as pets cant attack them until after they hit you.
They also stagger their teleports based on proximity sometimes, so if you want to dodge all their attacks with your movement ability, you end up only dodging the first couple and get hit by the remainder. Really frustrating sometimes, especially on Rogue.
Again, the classic example of = impossible for melee and ranged is just strolling through mono without a care in the world.
I mean some of those encounters like the one you’re mentioning are just annoying to deal with in general for the amount of junk they put on the screen. If they’re out of sync you have nowhere to stand ranged, melee or otherwise. The amount of the ambush mobs in general that just vomit mobs and projectiles at you is beyond annoying. Heaven help you if you’re playing a spec that doesn’t get a lot of health, defense or cooldown recovery.
No, ranged would need to move out of the way as well. Unless they can sustain through the fire DoT, but thats the same as melee…
Oh, you can call a lot of any trash mob that can easily kill you, even with developed resistances. I really like Last Epoch. But no matter how often you die with a character here, I haven’t died that many times in my entire PoE career. I love it.
