Hello. I have a question. Which class is the best in your opinion? Which has the highest survivability? I am currently playing a sentinel for spin2win.
Hey there and welcome to the LE Community!
This is probably very biased, because it’s simply my favorite class, but IMO Lich is the best class in the game, because of the following reasons:
-
Very versatile (probably the most versatile mastery in the entire game). You can go Melee, Spell, DoT, Ailment and Minions with it.
-
It has great access to various different defenses (Lots of HP, Very good Ward, Really good armour as well and 2 resistances)
-
The Passive Tree is very good, every nodes has good value for specific builds
-
Some of the most interesting skill synergies and baseline skills (Death Seal is probably one of the coolest skills, based on gameplay design and interactions as well as theme)
-
Very easy to play and learn, but also has some more intricate build possibilities
Apart from that, my second chocie would be Rogue, just because it’s the most high quality class as a whole curently, it’s very new and modern and despite having the least amount of active skills, it has a lot of build diversity and very very well thought out synergies.
I really hope that all classes will reach Rogue Level of Synergies and Skill Specialisation Tree Design.
To answer your question, which class has the highest survivability, I would say it’s between Paladin, Forgeguard and Druid
Rogue also can get tanky AF, but needs some really good gear and scaling to achieve that, generally rogue is rather squishy.
Thank you for your answer. My main question is which class is easiest to play in the beginning. If I understood correctly, Lich?
Ah, so you are asking for a “easy starter class”?
Well that’s a different subject I guess.
Lich is definitely easy to learn, you are pretty tanky and still can stay at range.
Also any Sentinel, but in particular Forge Guard and Paladin can be very easy to learn the game and enemies, because they can get really tanky.
If you prefer ranged spellcaster, Sorcerer will also be a good idea, but generally on the more squishy side, especially with little experience in the defensive mechanics of LE.
But being at range and playing defensively and kite if necessary can be very save.
So I would say:
- Paladin/Forge Guard
- Lich
- Sorcerer
No experience with a Lich, but I would agree, Paladin/Forge Guard (just because they are easy to stay alive with - simple mechanics and tanky… Sorceror… I would add Spellblade… it may seem complicated but its a very simple Melee build that generates ward as it attacks - so it gets more tanky the faster/more it attacks…
I would reply Necromancer, Paladin, Forge Guard, Sorcerer.
Ok thanks all. I will choose necro, or sorcerer
