Having reached level 77 as a Hardcore Marksman, and having completed a fair amount of the end game. I wanted to explore why I haven’t seen any Lightening support items!
The reason being, there are none! Why? Every other class has +skills and cool effects for their skills on supporting items except the detonating arrow marksman!
Did the dev’s forget that this is a class option? Even the storm bow is currently unable to drop…
I’m not struggling with the content, but loot has really become dull as nothing supports my build past a good exalted roll. There are literally no items, none! XD
Please tell me there is something coming for this build!
Jelkhor’s Blast Knife was recently added to support a melee style Detonating Arrow (lightning/fire/cold/poison whatever you prefer).
The Storm Bow is maybe a placeholder base item for an upcoming unique they might add to 0.9.1…
Saw the dagger and thought it was more of an insult item than a support item XD Why make a melee adaptation before supporting the bow skill? Seems so backwards! In an ARPG it’s about powring up and grinding for the better gear…my class and build has no gear made for it :S

Also not every class has every damage type. Right now Bow Markman builds revolve around the Dragonsong Unique (Fire) and Reign of Winter Unique (Cold) but there are a bunch of other unique bows that could be used but are far less effective than those two.
But this is to support the base skill (lightning), not asking for it to be converted to something weird & wonderful.
There’s tons of support! They just named it “Critical Strike Chance/Multiplier” instead.

I have 73% to crit and 259% multiplier on my Detonating Arrow and am hitting for a whopping 1k on crits at level 85…
Could you share you build? DA is currently bugged, it has the ability to pierce which can lower your dmg output.
But 1k seems abit low since i’m reaching similar numbers to what i achieved in 0.8.5 with the bow version. And that is between 200-400k explosion (not hit/tendrils) crits on the dummy.
If you can tell me how to do it, sure!
Even I’m hitting harder than that 
I only have about 26% base crit. But a lot of crit vulnerability and no idea on my crit multiplier without logging on. I’d love to see your gear and build to see how you’ve achieved the 200k damage Crits!
Or Flight of the First which is the only bow other than Dragonsong which has decent base crit.
You’ll need to manually enter it into the build planner if its an online character.
