Stuck on Architect Liath. Is this game like other Action RPG games in that i am supposed to re-run lower areas for xp gains? Where should i level up? Big thanks.

If you press tab and open the overlay map you see the zone levels at the top right where the minimap was. So go and farm the highest possible map for the most xp.
Then again if you are stuck at Liath then your build is most likely flawed and a lot of people will ask for your char stats. If you want a shortcut you can import and share your build here https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/ .

. To me at a first glance this sounds like you made an error somewhere that is holding you down but without further info I can’t help outside of the basic first words.
Try Lightless Arbor or Soulfire Bastion, you can get some levels pretty quick there. At the level you’re probably at right now Soulfire Bastion is probably best.

Check your resistances and see if you can find some gear (or maybe Idols) to swap out for more survivability! A 75% resistance is VERY helpful for survival.
(I think the enemies in Lagon / Water area deal a lot of Cold/Physical/Lightning damage? Check your Death Recap what kinda damage they do.)
Other than that, try looking at your items again and see if you can upgrade/forge anything to become stronger There’s lots of different other ways to increases survival, you could try finding more potions by getting mods on your Belt (or changing Belts entirely to increase your maximum amount of potions), you could try to get maybe some life-leech or health regeneration.
Anyway, for more specific advice, post your build - what kinda skill are you playing, what stats are you trying to scale, how is your gear looking? Good luck, traveller!
