What's your multiplayer dream team?

If Paladin auras stack… Could be interesting.

If not, I’m dreaming of an all-fire, Paladin-buffed squad, or all Crit could work too.

Rogue smoke cloud also has some good multiplayer potential.

Any other big plans out there??

It’s not really a dream team, but I am super excited for all kinds if utility support options, so support characters, that not only heal, but grant buffs, debuffs and ressources.

Like Mage can use focus on allies to give them mana, which possibly enables a build for some1 in your team, that would not work in solo, because he doesn’t need to be able to sustain his dps rotation on his own.
That mage also could give things like defenses and haste via Flame Ward to other allies.

Lightning Blast Closed Circuit Node does make Lightning Blast chain between allies, and gives them crit chance and increased damage, so basically you can use lightning blast as a sustain buffing spell, not caring about the damage it deals, but how often/fast you can cast it to buff your allies.

This could be combined with any hard cc like snap freeze or black hole.

There are countless other options that have alot of value to the team already, even though multiplayer isn’t even there yet.

Probably a paladin to tank, ice sorc to freeze, and maybe a marksman for additional dps?

A whole team of Poison Wandering Spirit Liches… Oh yeah.

I’ll be carrying the whole group with my 200mil Sirus DPS. So it doesnt matter… oh wait. this isnt POE.

In PoE I think its
DPS attack based to abuse aura
Aurabot - for auras
Cursebot - cursing mobs
Strengthbot - buffing allies
Guardian - Defences
Support AGAIN

Support - ‘mover’ moving mobs around
Support…again - cant remember

basically its almost proven by players consistently you really only need 1 damage dealer in these games as the supports are so overtuned they can make one player deal 27x the damage instead of having a team of 6 damage dealers

In PoE’s case the DPS is approx 3-8x more damage, up to maybe 15x more defence, 3-4x more speed for everyone

Imagine standing next to a player in LE that gives you 90% all resistance, 3k Ward, 20% movement speed, 3-8x damage and they also loot items for you…they are the ultimate minion basically.

In LE a team of these 2 as a base will be hard to beat all the time

-Mage - Group DPS
-Sentinel Forge Guard - Warpath pulls spec’d into zDPS tank - to pull every monster into a group while the DPS just drops a Meteor on them

Plus
-Rogue - Poison Shurikens
-Character with broken Ward interaction

The Sentinel War paths all mobs into a ball while the mage nukes them, the Rogue could be a glass cannon and takes care of bosses, and the final character will be any character who can abuse Ward generation so your team wont die, not sure what that is currently

So my dream team… is… my Necro with her minions…

Jokes aside, I haven’t made up my mind that much about synergies.

I always love it when I’m running alongside a minion build as the additional targets add a lot survivability.

But I can see a team of 4 Sentinels, Paly, VK and FG + a throwing/caster build.

Theres already so much stuff to discover in single player. Adding MP will raise build/synergies to a new height.

2 or 3 DPS
1 or 2 support (tank, healer, buff, etc…)

And no sumoner so you can see what’s going on.

All summoners. Maximum army on battlefield, preferably, 10000 bees.

Slight correction for PoE:
DPS using physical base (spell or attack, currently spell, specifically built to leave mobs at 1 hp)
Aurabot
Cursebot
Strength stacker (increases global defenses)
Disc bot (guardian with high discipline/determination/grace aura effect for massive defense)
Cull bot/MF bot (tons of quant/rarity gear, wide AoE and cull to kill mobs)

As for my dream group composition, it would have a paladin with pull warpath and holy aura spec’d for flame burst, accompanied by a melee minion necromancer or beastmaster to trigger flame burst as often as possible. For clear, likely Glacier sorc or potentially a marksman build.

Support options in current LE include:
Necromancer with Aura of Decay (healing) and Dread shade (massive attack speed buff for allies, as well as armor)
Paladin (not much to say here)
Forge Guard (tankier for pulling mobs)
Beastmaster (entangling roots for heal/mana gain, crows for ward or healing, frenzy totem)
Mage (Focus cast on allies for infinite mana, flame ward cast on allies)

2 times flame burst holy aura warpath ignite paladin, 2 times ignite stacking minion necromancer.

LOTS OF IGNITE PROCS, LOTS OF EXPLOSIONS
