Whats the point to play any other build than wraith?

Well, I purposefully avoided playing any Acolyte before 1.0 cause i think both classes were just boring, and now, as a Warlock, I have the feeling it is far more powerful than any of the other two, without even trying them.

I played a necro in beta. I’m not sure exactly sure what you mean by wraith “build”, I thought of my build as a super powered minion build. I used bone golem for tank, skeletal mages & archers for dps. Wraiths were there but they were just suicide bombers because I let my mages cast sacrifice on them.

i can’t play it because it’s female only and the immersion is broken everytime she speaks / acts feminine

maybe i’ll get a pseudo expansion with new classes to try if they ever get gender selection in . self-imposed restriction on classes for now lol

Fairly sure many Warlock, Falconer, and Runemaster builds can compete with Wraiths.

We can’t be sure it’s objectively “the best build” of the game.

BUT, seeing streamers doing millions (!!) of damage (and one shoting everything in existence) in one crit seems a bit overtuned.

I saw many overpowered builds over the years; people getting 150k ward in combat scenario (and not just cycle-charging), some AoE that is almost 2 screens wide, etc.

If Wraith is not in that category, it’s really close. I fully expect that something is not working as intented.

Game has many strong builds like the thorn shaman I’m playing right now. Most masteries seem to have at least one strong build.
