Whats the point from banishing nemesis?

if you challenge it and kill it he spawns new items next encounter aswell no? so i dont see the point of having option to banish it? or am i missing something

It’s there if you don’t care about the items and don’t wanna waste time on fighting it either.
There’s not any other hidden mechanic or anything.

Not-empowering the Nemesis will allow a new one to spawn next time with new stuff.

Seems like it’s better to challenge it even if you hate the items so you get loot and more stuff to craft with.

you can challenge it and not empower it and get new items next time too? so whats the point from banish

Yeah, it’s basically only if you are really lazy to not want to beat it, or if in the endgame become to strong and the fight will take a while or even beat you consistently, but I really don’t see this be a thing, at now it’s seems more like a exiled mage, a quite easy encounter without empowering it, and I guess it’s fine

It’s not about laziness.

Right now, when you are new to the cycle, you want random rare items and you want the crafting materials.
Later, when you are in 200-300c empowered monolith, you already have T20 rares and a supply of crafting materials, fighting a miniboss is a waste of time.

Maybe you don’t want to fight it and the items aren’t interesting?
