What’s your obscure or niche IP you want in LE (that fits with game ascetics )

To clarify IP in this case means Intellectual Property.

Examples; marvel zombies, Dora the explorer, dark wing duck, yugioh, Buffy the vampire slayer, berserk etc….

So the name of the game is picking a specific IP and not a general universe like saying ”Marvel comics”. And within that IP what in particular do you want to see in the game.

Examples; Master sword from Zelda, Batman from dc dark night steel, courage from courage the cowardly dog, the castle from castlevania, the Sharingan eye power in Naruto, the flying zombie deadpool head.

If you can try and keep it one IP per post to prevent a muddled up post and burying a cool IP within a novel.

For bonus points come up with a way to fit the IP within the game.

You can suggest anything appropriate that you like, but ideally this post was made for IPs that are not always asked for.

So I want to have the characters from a preteen Disney show I watched as a kid. Disneys gargoyles is my pick. Specifically the seven gargoyles including the dog gargoyle Bronx

The way I would incorporate it into the game would be a time hopping dungeon like temporal. In the ruined era (night) the gargoyles are free. In the Divine era (day) they would turn back to stone. It would include fighting enemies that shift eras either allowing you to have gargoyle allies or enemies. Creating a situation of easier or harder fights or providing buffs or debuffs. If they were your ally you would have to prevent mobs from destroying them in the divine era while trying to kill the boss in the ruined era before (something) happens. If they were your enemies you would try to destroy them in the divine era but the ruined era would be a bullet he’ll level of mobs and the divine era mobs would have ways to force you back into the ruined era and put a CD on your ability to shift eras.

I hope you have fun and enjoy.

Hornet from Silksong, she’s great at murdering bugs and we have so many.

I never got around to playing that game, but I do know of it. I like the bug tie in.

My question to you is, is hornet the main dude with the white mask. And do you want to play as him, or have a special ability of his in the game, have him as an npc and incorporate bug killing missions with maybe rewards that are special silksong themed uniques. For example kill 100,000 bug enemies and you get the LE version of his weapon or armour as a unique, or visual mtx, or even crazier a set item. And the npc could have multiple quest with multiple different set piece rewards what also visually change you to look like hornet(if that is a playable character).

I would like to see this series incorporated

In no way, shape or form am I saying this is something that is planned or going to happen in LE. I say this as an LE fan, and gamer. This is a fun thread and I intend to join in on the fun for a post. :joy:

With that said, I really have a weakness for things like this when done correctly. However, It would be neat to see Castlevania characters like Dracula. Could have a style which could focus on Spells or shapeshifting (bats, wolf, demon, etc).

Thanks for participating, but yes this is just a fun post nothing serious or any expectations of use of ideas. It’s just fun for me at least to see what people’s brains can create.

It’s time to da da da duel!!!

How about some Last Epoch card game within the game where defeating some monsters, clearing content, and even higher corruption rewards cards.

Let me duel Aberroth in the end with a Divine Paladin deck inclusive of cards from weapons, characters, and/or skills.

I love games within game, something to break up the grind and refresh the brain.

I want Space Epoch. Some energy weapons (blades and ranged), maybe a little power armor.

I guess Dr. Who fits everywhere in time and space.

The Aes Sedai’s and forsaken from The Wheel of Time.
Great powers and awesome magic system.

In general I cannot stand crossover IP stuff. I’ve never liked except for singular niche one-offs or what not.

That said, in the spirit of the OP, it would be interesting to see manifestations of Michael Moorcock’s Eternal Champions (Hawkmoon, Elric, Corum, JC, Erekose, etc.), along with their respective companions like Moonglum appear as Pinnacle Trapped Mages or other examples of “Travelers” throughout the Epochs.

It’s novels, search for Elric of Melniboné. Classic of the fantasy literature, one of the foundations from which the D&D designers took inspiration for certain aspects, I think.

sounds cool, i used to do creative writing to help my brain relax. And what i was doing was basically making my equivalent of a D&D players handbook.
