Im a minions person and the minions are all just boring. I want to control 20 minions of dif Types not 2-3 or even 8 frogs or what ever. I guess devs are not into the same minion like builds as me. Hope that changes one day. They will then see my money again. Till then its the POE bros for me.
I don’t get the difference between 3, 8 and 20 - you’re literally just setting them to attack or defend and running around while they auto attack. I mean if you’re somehow controlling each minion and love to micro like a madman then I’d get your pickle but for now I do not see said pickle. Best of luck in POE!
As acolyte you can easily reach 15-20+ minions in different configurations. So whats the problem?
I do like that Primalsit and Acolyte feel very different from another evne when you both play them as minion builds. So what you want seems way more like an Acolyte.
While you can, in theory, run around with 20 different minions in PoE, in practice you never do because that build would suck. Almost every real build will run 3-5 different minions, at most.
And you can also do that in LE. If you run lazy necro, you get 5 skilled minions (which could also be more than 5, but realistically you’ll always spec skellies into a specific type, same for golems). You’ll also have vanguard knights from passive tree and the dinossaur from the primordial relic.
And both games allow you to run 20+ minions combined. There’s honestly not much difference in this regard with both games when you consider actual builds that work decently.
Even in PoE2 with the new muster gem, you end up running 5-6 minion types only because it’s not worth sacrificing more spirit and have less of your main ones. And every other minion that isn’t your main one will only have 1-2 each.
So again, not too different in practice.
EarthQuake Bear is all you need, broski
As others have said, it’s easy to create a 20 minion army in Last Epoch. Acolyte & Primalist have the most variety of minion types but other classes can hit over a dozen minions too.
