Not ment offensive, but they take ages and you get lousy loot in return. You can’t really use the idol crafter since there are close to zero usable drops when it comes for idols. I’ve found it’s more useful to use the idols which can’t be enchanted.
I get my Echos as mololith rewards so I can still do some Cementries get favors that way
do I miss something?
They offer you much more access to the idol crafting which you dont seem to need right now, so they are safe to skip.
They are also set sources of things like the possesed mage/nemesis you can spec. if you spec those, you can just run to the tomb and do them 100% of the time. basically forcing those mechanics.
They also just have lots of monsters in them, I use them to proc champion death prophecies, lots of champs in there.
If you have a need for any class specific idol, it will always be better enchanted than not. At worst, it will be the same.
If you don’t have a need for one, maybe you should start looking into that? With the enchanting, even if it’s lots of RNG, you can get huge benefits from using one that you can’t get from a generic 2 slot idol.
Also, tombs give you amber, which advances the weaver faction. And they’re guaranteed to have a champion, sometimes even more than 1.
And lastly, if you do find yourself in a situation where you don’t really need to enchant idols, then just skip them. They’re optional anyway. They’ll become more important as you advance in endgame.
The drops at end of the tomb is not useless. It basically copies the echo reward. It is quite useful if you are targeting farming with echo reward, essentially double your chances.
