Iam still not sure what to cycle start so i wonder what you guys are going to play:
for example
iam considering acid cold flask falconer. because it seems cool and sketchy to me.
Not sure if it will do any damage. Especially not with my potato skill with rogue
Rogue.
Falconer.
Aerial Assault + Shurikens.
Throw Birb, feathers. Also throw Shurikens. Both poison, big DoT.
Because we love BIRB.
Warlock because I need to start somewhere.
I was going to go Runemaster so I can be a bloody finger to those mages in cages. But that patch note video about Falconer looked pretty cool. I’ll have to think about it!
gonna go warlock and go for all the ailment overloads with cythonic rift as main damage with plans to try going lowlife and use the new sword

Dagger & Shield. Taking the block converted to glance chance to help cap that easier w/o needing smoke bomb.
Edit: I wanted to try to also squeeze in blocking, so I’d have dodge, glance and block, but that’s too much investment and would require smoke bomb, which I’m avoiding. Maybe if I get god gear down the line.
All of them I have enought time to play 10 warlocks before the first cycle hits.

I really want to go tempest strike and maelstrom (I’ll try to work in the other new skill as well, old brain can’t remember the name right now) because I’m a slut for the lightning and I’d like to see if I can get a really jacked up maelstrom to fuck shit up. So my thinking is that I’ll turn off Tempest Strike cold and physical to get the attack rate jacked up, and try to build maelstrom stacks that way. Not sure any of that is going to work, but we’ll give it a … whirl! AH! NO ONE SAW THAT COMING!
But all that means I’ll be in melee range and I’m concerned that the shaman doesn’t have enough survivability to make that happen, but we’ll find out. If I start to struggle, I’ll switch to Warlock cause I don’t have any concerns there.
Hmm this doesnt seem so conflicting, you already ruled out warlock and falconer.

I want to go Warlock with some Cthonic abuse to get stupid damage for a different spell (probably Chaos Bolts). Given they’ve nerfed all of my favourite builds I figured I’d steal someone else’s to get that nerfed instead.

I’m going to raise a base Mage to 100 before picking any Mastery. Maybe even HC, so I have to start again if I die. They removed masochist, so I have to make do myself!

3 - Will be a cold minion
4 - no idea wtf you chatting here lol im 50 i dont know this young kids slang
5 - easiest class to level upto about 80 with little to no gear , at which point i will swap over to the rogue shotgun build as i should have the 2-3 uniques that make the build work this will most likely be my long term build then over time i will level other classes
Lol, iam 36 but i guess compared to your age iam a young kid using slang 
I meant a combo build using different interactions to make the build more interesting, triggering a different skill while using a skill together with a specific passive which changes a certain playstyle type of route. Something like that is what i meant, things that have synergy with each other and less obvious choices that might have synergy or are picked just to make the build look cool and fun but doesnt do much dmg.
Which build? is this some old slang?
the shotgun build, i dont know what its really called, but its the flurry / multishot with ward as the defence, its very similar to this build except i use ward to basicalyl face tank upto about 400 ish corruption

I wasn’t doing terrible with my first attempt …once I found a ring with a ton of mana on it that really helped it grow. I was using thorn totems with poison as well and once I hit a certain spot on the tree it became much easier to deploy them and more mana efficient. If it doesn’t work. there’s 17 kabillion other combos I can try with other skills/classes
