I have played ARPGs for many years and find that I set my keyboard up the same every time. It is frustrating now when transforming to the werebear that the combat keyboard controls are static and cannot be changed.
I do think it would be a good idea if the player was given the option to remap these, would make the gameplay much more enjoyable.
8.3/4 (next patch or the one after) has loads of werebear changes, including confirmed new skins, the ability to move our keys like everyone else. Much more too!
Edit: Your workaround until then is to reassign your hotkeys to match your fingers, not the order of the abilities on screen. So you can have, for example, WQRE instead of QWER.
