Hi!
As said elsewhere, I’m thinking of coming back to the game for a bit (even if 1.1 is still far away). I’ve stopped playing in March because of a “grind burn-out”, mostly because I played too much just before 1.0 and because of other games pulling me in (Poe season, V rising 1.0 and many others).
I’m not super interested of grinding monos ad nauseam again (…before 1.1!), but I miss what I was doing just before dropping off : weird challenges, speedrun trials and other non-conventional stuff.
Since we’re in the late stage of the cycle, maybe other players would be interested in contests and challenges ? It would be way more fun for me if I’m not the only one weirdo doing it, for sure.
If people are interested, please manifest yourself and help me precise the format! If that works, i’ll edit this post and put “official challenges” (ie. what we agree on, format-wise) and a little “leaderboard” for who’s “winning” the challenge at the moment. If not, and if no-one is interested, that’s okay; just let the post disappears. 
By the way, even if I see that as a little competition, I don’t think it should need hard proof of the completed challenges. I think it should be done in good faith, there is no prizes and nothing to win. Maybe a screenshot as proof ? But I feel like stream-clipping is just too much for what it is; a friendly competition for bored players.

Lowgon : I’ve already spoken about it elsewhere. The goal is to kill Lagon with the lowest character possible. I think it should be in Character-Self-Found, since having 2-3 LPs low-level legendary makes it trivial… Or maybe that could be the point ? The CSF makes it a bit tedious and quite hard, since you still want to farm for good gear and shards but don’t want to level too much. Both options (CSF or full account / stuff available) presents their challenges and could be fun to compete.

Blue all the way : Two affixes on the gear, maximum. Campaign, and monos. Up to which point can we go with it ?

“Hardcore troll mode” : I saw a few streamers (Rax & Perry) trying it, the infamous Veteran’s boots. Does anyone got far with it ?

Silly themed builds / challenge : I know that Perry’s community has done many Build contests in the past, but not in a while (I think?). And it’s limited to his discord, with usually serious themes / try hard builds (even if Perry emphasize and prioritize “fun builds”). Maybe we can suggest a silly theme, or something open to interpretation (instead of based on a unique) like “I’m a frog” or “All the clouds”.

Weird speedruns ? : Of course, there is already a few great players that have done crazy speedruns (like Terek). Maybe we can find a twist on it ? Or not, and we log/leaderboard the best speedrunners ? But that’s a more “official” category and needs stream proofs, in my opinion…
So… yeah. Don’t know if that will interest anyone.
