This suggestion is a small improvement for overwhelming Weaver’s Will items mostly for Circle of Fortune players who get more drops of these items. Although i enjoy this feature a lot, but it is very time consuming trying to check out every single one.
Sometimes affixes are bad but rolls can be pretty good for a certain build you can try in the future, but when you see all 4 you just wanna move on to another one and try it out here and now while you have time to play.
The proposed solution i have is to make a tab in crafting window or vendor with few slots for Weaver’'s Will items which roll automaticaly over a certain time (night or server restart). So you wake up, check out the result and decide whether keep it or not.
LE’s systems are in place to encourage you to actively play. This change would go against that, since people would just idle away waiting for their WW items to roll. I don’t think it’s a good idea.
The whole point is that you have to get XPs to level it up. It’s a gamble and also a sacrifice, since you’re giving up your slot to level it.
As i said, i enjoy rolling WW items. But don’t have enough play time to check every single one. It is a QoL proposal for busy players like me nothing else. I dont think this change will affect any active play if we are taking 1-3 items per day into consideration. Make it available for items that you half finished or for known 4 affixes. Make it leach small percent of you EXP passively. It is just a smal QoL idea.
People with lots of time will find lots more Weaver’s items (I got like 8-9 in the stash with 0 progress atm)
Remember that you’ll get an upgrade on an existing affix 75% of the time, so if the item rolled bad for you at the start, it may be better to try another one first before finishing the ‘bad’ one.
I find it sad that you cannot purchase a weaver’s will unique, level it up and then list the legendary version. It’s not like you are flipping items, you are risking the purchase and going through the leveling process. Same idea with legendary items, you are going through the risk of slamming the LP unique.
Maybe they could make an item that reveals the weaver’s will. It doesn’t complete it for you, it just shows what it will roll. They could make this item have to be farmed, and that solves the AFK problem, and the spending all your time rolling weaver’s will problem.
Edit: What if you could sacrifice a complete weaver’s item of the same type and same or higher weaver’s value to reveal the will of an incomplete weaver’s item, that would be cool.
