I wanted to imprint this equipped item in my weaver tree but it just took the item. Checked forge, ground without loot filter and everywhere and its gone.
This is a really messed up bug and needs to be fixed ASAP and there should be some disclaimer to players in the meantime so they don’t lose their key items.
It happened again! This time with a Woven echo. You can see I have no Unclaimed Trove Woven echoes left even though it is imprinted. It seems the first item imprinted gets eaten up by the node.
I just had the same issue. Putting my item into the weaver tree made it disappear

I always put a dummy item off the ground first now and then my actual item.
