I’m trying to work out why I’m not seeing any prophecies relating to Weaver idols - I must be missing something because I’ve spent about 50k favour at various points thinking I’ve done what I need to to get them to show up, and have yet to get a single one.
As far as I can tell, they were bugged at one point, but ostensibly fixed in 1.2.2. You supposedly need weaver level 5 to unlock them appearing as prophecies. I have seen people get them in youtube videos from the current season. I have tried with generic small idol lens, lagonion small idol lense, and no lenses.
What do I actually need to get these prophecies, or are they still bugged somehow?
I think level 9 is when they showed up, maybe they changed the requirement this season?
I had same problem, they were just not there and thought “must be bugged again, ill just go try and grind them” then i was told they actually have a level requirement, so I was level 9 or 10 at that point and got them in droves and was able to farm them.
They are there, I’ve done them, but they don’t come up very often. It’s all RNG to get what you’re looking for and I think these specific prophecies “may” be on the more rare side.
There’s simply no way they are this rare. If I have spent over 50k favor on rerolling and not seen one of them once, they are broken - they might as well not exist. There are 4 different ones, and none of them have appeared once, in something like 250 rolls.
Again; this is simply not feasible. 50k is approximately 250 rerolls. To not see any of the 4 options in 250 rerolls is not just rare or “rng is rng”; if they are rare enough for that to happen they might as well not exist. There is some other qualifier that isn’t clear, or there is a bug.
Nowhere in the weaver or CoF ranks does it say anything about this. It’s possible you’re right, but it should say so in the ranks of whatever the requirement is.
I’m rank 12 in CoF and rank 9 in weaver and they do show up for me. I’ve seen 5 in about 10 rerolls.
However, the icon for both is the same. The only difference is one says “Small idol” and the other says “Small weaver idol”, so they’re easy to miss, even if you do have the requisites.
The CoF ranks should specify when it can start rolling, or whatever requirement they have, and the weaver idols should be distinct from the regular ones.
I know RNG is RNG, but assuming there’s no hyperbole involved, rerolling 50k favour and not getting one (also assuming none did roll and they just didn’t notice it has the same icon) while me rolling 2k and getting 5 seems too improbable.
So either numbers are being hyperbolized or something is up with this.
Yeah, but they seem to have forgotten the whole left side, since generic rune/affix/glyph prophecies also don’t get a distinction, though idols did.
Yeah Im guessing they dont because it will be a UI nightmare, there is a shitload of prophecies, but they could have it in the game guide as well as a blurb telling you to check that information “prophecies have rank requirements, browse here” and it opens up what can only be described as a wall of text of the prophecy list lol
When viewing a lens, they could simply place a list of available prophecies in the corner (kinda like the quest list, which also shows the modifiers/corruption) showing which are available and which aren’t and what the requirements are.
You could minimize this list like you do with the quest one, so it wouldn’t be in the way.
