Hi folks, haven’t been on LE for about 6 months. I logged back on and all my characters were gone. Did the game officially launch or something? Or did they do a full reset and delete all Beta saved content at some point? Please advise.
Edit: I did a full reformat of my CPU since last playing. Is LE account/progress data locally stored?
Lost all my saves after a reformat as well.
Loot Filters and Characters are stored locally.
Steam has cloud sync at least for characters. But that needs to be activated.
There will be no wipe at all. Even with release.
The only time you need to start from scratch will be, when online play launches, but your offline characters will be still accessable.
Thanks. RIP for me then. I didn’t have Cloud Sync enabled for Steam so I guess I lost like 400 hrs of farming ><
That’s a bummer. While i can understand the frustration you might take that as a fresh start and try something entirely new.
Playing fresh has alot of advantages^^
and then again at 1.0 for online play
And again for each cycle (If you decided to play these over the standard server)
Where are the safe files from the character when you purchased the game from the homepage?
I didn’t implement the purchase into steam since i like to play the game from its own launcher - but after i installed the game on a 2nd pc i realised characters are getting safed locally :p. So can someone tell me where the files are?
