Im pushing to 300 and I do good if I make no mistakes. If I do I usually get one shotted. Can you all look at my build and see what I can do? My necrotic resist is so high because it also raises my dps.
Heyo,
how much ward/health do you usually have?
By only looking at the build it looks like you have very little sustain (only Leech from the Blessing + Chaos Bolt Health on hit).
Do you have 100% Health all the time while spamming Chaos Bolt? So your relic generate the maximum amount of ward?
I would say your best leverage for defense would be more health. (To generate more ward)
1600 Health is quite low and will limit the amount of ward you are generating quite a bit.
With 2-3K Health you would generate a lot more ward, as long as you can reliably stay full health.
In your professional opinion what would you drop to make room for more health on my gear (prefix/affix wise)?
My ward is around 2700 standing still.
Iām certainly not a pro build maker, but if this was my character, I would never ever invest in more HP solely because of that relicā¦ I even thought of posting before you did saying something like āget rid of those Health affixes in your gear and get enduranceā, but I left it for the more knowledgeable builders out there.
I would be much more concerned in capping my crit avoidance and upping my endurance/thresholdā¦ I donāt know, I just cant play any character while having minimum low endurance and threshold and this would be the first thing Iād change before anything else.
The relic scales with %current health, this means a higher value of health generates more ward.
So you want to have a:
- High Health pool in general
- Reliable sustain to keep yourself topped within high health to ācounteractā the health your are āsacrificingā through the relic
Regarding Endurance, that doesn#t do that much here. Endurance has no effect on damage that is going into your ward and would only serve as a extra saftey layer if you are critically low. But for a prue ward or hybrid ward build the investment is not worth it, because you could simply reach way higher ward with spending those suffixes/blessings on other things.
Critical strike avoidance is defintiely something @Beyorn1973 should cap out at some point, but if you donāt go crazy with enemy echo modifiers it shouldnāt be a consitent problem and rather some enemies with crit affixes causing issues.
A crit from a big ability can definitely oneshot them though, so this might be what is happening from time to time. But a lot of thosee bigger hits are avoidable to begin with with or without crit.
Oh, that would explain a lot. I never built a pure ward buildā¦ Never really liked it, the same way I donāt like ES in PoE.
All ward i get in my builds are residual, so I always assumed endurance also applied on ward.
Thanks for clarifying.
