Wandering Spirits no longer lingering if converted to a channelled skill

Generally, you should include:

Base Class: Accolyte
Mastery: Lich
Skill: Wandering Spirits

The Wandering Spirits are suppose to have a base duration of 4 seconds where they linger around.

This works as expected on the skill by default when its a cast, but once made a channelled skill this breaks.

What went wrong?

Once you make it a channelled skill via the passive on its tree “Song of the Lost Chantry” this no longer works they dissapears as soon as you are not channelling.

This used to worked fine before 1.0 where the cast and channelled versions both had a base duration of 4 seconds where the spirits linger in the world.

Im finding it the same way. Once u stop channeling, the spirits disappear. So either its bugged or works as intended. Either way, i would like an answer to which it is. This build becomes harder to play if this the new state of the skill with that node in wandering spirit skill tree.

Same thing here, would like to know if this is bugged or a nerf to the skill that wasnt on the patch notes

I dont think this is a bug, and rather a unfortunate quirk of the skill itself. The last line of the Skill says “…,but all remaining spirits fade once the reveal duration ends.” The moment you stop channeling is most likely the moment you stop ‘revealing’ and that instantly forces them to fade.
