Wandering spirits/ bone curse

Wandering Spirits with Spectral Putrescence do not proc Bone Curse despite the projectile hitting enemies.

My assumption would be that the projectile inherits the DoT tag from the base skill (even if the description says that the projectile “hits”, Drain Life has a node, Dark Shackles that mentions “hit” in the description, despite that skill having the DoT tag & therefore being incapable of hitting).

But the projectiles are “hitting” aren’t they? They proc on-hit-effects, like “70% chance of bleed on hit”?

If they proc this kind of effects, then they should also proc bone curse…

If they proc bleed on hit (not from the skill’s tree) then yes, they’re hitting & should proc bone curse.

OK…so i tested it with the amulet “Locket of the forgotten Knight”, which says “+19% chance to create a void rift when you hit an enemy”.

The Darts are proccing this! Void rifts are proccing.

But if i apply bone curse to the dummy, i can’t see any difference, with or withour bone curse…i think this is a bug
