How is it we can town portal to a different era without all of the shards?
There’s actually dialogue about it, too.
Right after when Elder Balthas takes you to the Ruined Era, you can just teleport back to the Keeper Camp. A NPC there (the woman who was following Grael) tells you that Lena has just left to the north.

I don’t think that explains why you can town portal witout the epoch however. Lord knows I have only replayed this game billions of times to finally get the lore to click.
