When Volatile reversal is used during Warpath, it resets various effect timers. This is problematic mainly during boss fights, where Volatile reversal is used constantly.
- It prevents forged weapons from summoning, if Volatile reversal cooldown is less than summon interval.
- It prevents Warpath from restoring mana, if Volatile reversal cooldown is less than 3 seconds.
- As described here, it is needed to channel for another 2 seconds to be able to create echoes Volatile Reversal Resetting 2 sec rule from echo knight talent in warpath
I have Volatile Reversal allocated node, that prevents mana restoration, so this is not the case.
It is sounds logical that Volatile reversal resets mentioned timers because it “sends you back in time”. That would be cool, if it was consistent. For example Void cleave ravaging aura duration is not reset.
What happens is Volatile reversal interrupts Warpath for a moment. It is easy to see by allocating Warslash. But interruption should not happen, because it is instant cast spell. For example instant cast Sigils of Hope doesn’t interrupt channeling.
