I think it would make the skill & node a lot more insanely thematic if it also altered the appearance of the serpent into a giant Locust creature or a Locust Broodmother (maybe even occasionally spawn locust from it?). It would really make it feel more thematic towards the investment and the idea around poison stacking with it alongside minions.
