Playing the multiplayer beta with a friend, been having an issue where whenever we try to load into a new area, that area takes a very long time to load and we are always put into seperate instances.

Had the same terrible experience with my friend playing the multiplayer beta weekend together. Long wait times before the load screen even starts (up to a minute and way more, taking whole toilet breaks of time for example). If you repeat the zone transition attempts Error 51 appears and it still takes ages for somebody to change zones. If you are lucky one of you gets to the next zone earlier and you can teleport to them directly faster.
Also you never arrive in the same instance as you describe. One time I arrived in the instance with a completely unrelated and foreign player not even in my party.
We were connected on EU West and tried playing after every Hotfix. Playing over Ethernet connection. Doesn’t seem to depend on prime time or server load but can’t make good guesses on that. Shit was a terrible mess and stayed that way so we ditched the game for now.
Love the game, hope this gets fixed fast.
