Have you tried limiting the fps? LE isn’t a particularly gpu taxing game.
Usually only happens if you are trying to run the game at settings that are too high for your hardware or you do not limit LE in some way with an appropriate framerate limit.
If you post your system spec (output of dxdiag report assuming windows) & the le_graphicsmanager.ini (games setting file) then we can try and make a recommendation.
