The Vengeance skill node, Deflection, does not stop iron blades from piercing and does not make them chain to other enemies. I tested iron blades against several large and small packs in monoliths and could not get a single chain to go off. I also lined up singular mobs by running them around and lining up hits. Blades never re-corrected their flight path or bounced. Piercing blades were easily observed throughout.
