When using a town portal to return to the map where you cast it messes the minions up. They are somewhere be placed on the map but not next to the player character. I have a screenshot but I’m not allowed to attach it here because images are blocked.
This is a known issue.
Personally I upload images to imgur.com & then link them. I’m guessing they didn’t want dick pics:
