I’m still new to the game. But the 1st thing I have found that is a bit annoying for me is the interaction with portals and waypoints.
Instead of just mousing over to use it, I’d love to only use it if I click on it. I find myself traveling when just running around near a portal or waypoint trying to pick gold.

Yes, this is a known issue.
Just to piggyback on OP’s point; The same happens with every mouse interaction (as far as I am concerned). I hate when I am crafting close to my stash, and I keep mousing (while moving from inventory to Forge window), the stash and open it constantly.
I assume the answer @Llama8 gave, means EHG is working on all mouse interactions on-drag/hover.
