Useless shattered omens

Good afternoon, dear players and developers.

I’d like to touch on the mechanics of the new season, namely the Shattered Omens progression. Items obtained through this new mechanic are runes, idol altars, and corrupted items.

I’ll give you an example:
Tomb - farm amber, complete tombs, build a useful tree.
Prehistoric - evolve your beast, buy excellent unique items with the currency that drops from these instances and from the beast itself.
Omens - kill a boss to drop a corrupted rune and a couple of items you can’t do anything with. It doesn’t matter what tier you kill the boss: you’ll still get the same corrupted rune and the same items.

This makes the progression of the new mechanic completely useless; only the number of items changes.

One option I’d like to suggest: as your Omens level increases, one random affix on an item becomes free of corruption, which can be transferred to a unique item or interacted with via runes.

This is just one idea I’ve come up with, but it gives meaning to the Omens level progression. After 30 hours of play, I simply stopped using these Omens, as they’re uninteresting and pointless.
