I have Urzil’s Pride, and it adds mana regen even if lightning resistance is below 75%. At 36% lightning resistance, the mana regen goes from 8 to 9. Is it me misunderstanding the mechanics of uncapped resistance, or is the item not working correctly and I need to write a bug report?
Why wouldn’t it? It doesn’t say anything about resistance below 75%.
Because it states that it adds 1% of mana regen for each 3% of uncapped lightning resistance, and as I understand it from the definition of uncapped resistance mechanic (Uncapped resistance is the total amount of resistance you have against a specific damage type, ignoring the cap of 75%) it should not adds any mana regen untill I capped lightning resistance and bring it even over it to at least 78%.
It is not. That wouldn’t even make sense the way you interpreted it.
It says “uncapped” because otherwise it would imply that the bonus stops at 75%, since that is the maximum resistance you can have.
