Unless you’re part of the 0.1% of the playerbase that actually cares about the Ladder How does it effect you ?
Why do you care what other people are doing in a PvE game, does it erk you to know other people enjoy a game in a different manner to yours ?
Why should your opinion matter and theirs not ?
This wasn’t even the easy-mode build… Warlock couldn’t beat Wraithlord if it got a million buffs today rather than a nerf.
Yes there should be consequences for blatant exploitation but what about the vast majority of players that never actually visit the forums, because lets face it game forums are generally filled with the dregs of society and casual gamers that just play to have some fun don’t really like mixing with them… They didn’t know their build was bugged to begin with.

This is disingenuous at best. These are critiques about the game and it’s currently provided content. “Lacking” more end game content isn’t a bug. The game just left Early Access, you cannot reasonably expect it to have the same level of end game content as Path of Exile that’s been around for over 10 years. Even if you include LE’s EA time (which, I wouldn’t, but even if you did) game is still half as old as PoE. PoE has had a lot of time (and more money) to throw at making a lot of end game content. In 5 years, I’m sure LE will have quite the extensive in end game systems.
Also, you and many others fail to understand that working on bugs takes time. I’d doubt their entire team has worked solely on these 2 very specific bugs in the last couple of weeks and that nothing else is being done behind the scenes.
Bugs exist, they always will, new ones will come up when old ones are squashed, you will always have something to complain about if you want it. If that’s the lens you view everything in, you’ll always be disappointed

Awesome stuff… looking forward to the feedback on the survey results. Although Im pretty sure that most people agreed to what you doing now. Bug fixes only. Since mid-cycle balance changes will put a huge nerf on player creativity around builds and new skills.
up^ this will kill the cycle but what ever we dont even have acc wide corruptions or anything people will just quit

Is this the part where you said you didn’t have a problem with just fixing an obvious bug? Because I don’t see it here. What I do see is an argument that the skill should be buffed to lessen the effect of the fix, backed by a hyperbolic claim that the build will be useless without it.

The point is there’s builds and skills that have been underperforming long before launch and we’ve yet to get a update to them.
See, that’s all well and good. The problem is that in the context of the post I replied to, this looks like a red herring to distract from the actual issue. The first part of the argument is that warlock builds will become useless, and then you basically go on to say “instead of hyper focusing on nerfing things, buff underperforming skills instead”. Note you use the term “nerf” here and not “bug fix”. So taking the overall theme of your post, I’m not sure what other meaning I’m supposed to infer other than “instead of nerfing warlocks, buff other skills to this level”.
As i understand wraithlord damage is a problem of bad balancing, not related to any bugs that increased damage more then it should
Ppl try to pretend to be stupid but the fact that profane was bugged was well known. Everyone know that insane ward was a result of bug not balancing. If you intentionally abuse the bug even after devs stated it is a bug then you only can blame yourself.
In other games abusing bugs to gain power can give you ban. It happened in poe before.
Ppl who cry that they won’t be able to abuse bugged interactions should feel good that ehg didn’t decide to ban them

All these crybabies… bottom line is the skills Were Not working as the Devs originally intended… its better now… This is the Way.
It was built right…using 3LP compass as well…anyway… regarding, “underperforming is different than a build actually being balanced out as it should be”…
The new classes are obviously where the bar is being set for the direction and future of this game. And with that said, many of the old builds lag FAR FAR behind (physical bow marksman, 100%). Go kill a 300 or 400 corruption mono timeline boss with falcon, lock or RM…then go do it on your Flurry/MS marksman…the difference is laughable., which is exactly why it’s a C tier build, barely above D tier flame reave spellblade lmao…
Flurry/MS (or phys bow in general) is not “balanced as it should be”…it sucks and underperforms vs everything else that is fun in LE.
Good news but pretty disheartening considering community needed weeks just to convince developers to fix 2 bugs in their software.
And what about all the other bugs, like equipping 2-handed weapons and shields together, for example? Or any other bugs that doesn’t cause builds to overperform. Bugs either introduced with 1.0 or are in the game for years? Is EHG working on those bugs or should we wait for 1.1, like we were waiting for 1.0 and get disappointed again? Hearing something from developers about the state of bug-fixing would be nice.
Big W. Fixing bugs shouldn’t be viewed as balancing mid-cycle in the same way as nerfing/buffing overperforming/underperforming masteries, especially when it’s an egregious bug.
