It has been brought up in the past already but I want to give the topic another shot since we have so many new players here that might want to support this suggestion (hopefully) 
So, I’d really love to be able to swap between blessings I already used. For example, if I used the spirits of fire armour blessing, swapped to fire resistance at some point when I needed the res, but then cap my res with new items so the resistance blessing is not needed anymore, I want to be able to swap to my previous armour blessing.
Currently players rely on the blessing to “drop” at a boss kill. And no matter what blessings you have used in the past, you can only choose to keep your current or replace it with whatever is randomly available.
How I think the system should work:
- You unlock blessings by using/choosing them. So it’s not like you unlock all the blessings that are available as a reward, but only the one that you choose to use.
- If you redo the timeline and replace your current blessing, the old blessing doesn’t vanish but will be stored with its exact rolls.
- If you want to get higher rolls on a blessing you have to kill the boss, get offered the blessing with better rolls and choose to ‘replace’ your current blessing with it in order to unlock the higher roll
So much to unlocking. But how would we swap blessings?
- My favourite solution would be to allow instant swapping. This could also be gated behind a fee like gold cost or requiring a token that you get by killing that coresponding timeline boss. Like you killed Rayeh 4 times, you can swap blessings 4 times. Wanna swap a 5th time requires you to kill him again. But allow to save up these tokens
- Alternatively we could be able to not only choose between the new blesdings a bosskill offers but also expand that choice with all the blessings of that timeline we previously used on this character.
I get that blessings are something to chase. And I don’t want it to be trivialised to find the perfect blessings. But I want to have some utility regarding my gear and blessing choices.
During leveling my characters I want to choose the blessings that benefit my character the most at the exact moment. Like in my example above I somehow threw away the armour blessing (which is propably one of the most valuable blessings) and used resistance blessing because i had suboptimal gear and lacked fire res. 2 hours later I ended up having 120+ fire res so I didnt need the res blesding anymore. It took my 2 playsessions (2 days) to get an armour blessing in that timeline and it ended up being rolled worse than the first one.
Thats really frustrating and me and @TriKster defenitely are of the opinion that there dhould be some way to “save” earned blessings for later use.
