Trying to understand how to farm. Looking at the new snowdrift boots for example. It says to farm spirits of fire timeline, empowered. Got that but then it says “Unique or Set Boots echoes.” I am confused because i see unique reward echoes and set item echoes and boots either rare or exalted but i do not see any that specify unique boots, or set boots. Level 90 here also says that the exclusive echo rewards are boots but what are exclusive echo rewards and how does one get them?
How am i misunderstanding this? Thanks in advance!
These are echo reward types that are specific for the timeline. The unique item echoes can spawn in every timeline. Unique and set boots rewards can only spawn on that specific timeline.
You can’t really do something to spawn them actively. The echo rewards are rolled when you go deeper into the timeline web and rare echo rewards spawn more often the further away you are from the start.
You can get these boots on every timeline, the one you mentioned just gives you a bit more chances as the unique/set boots echo rewards are added to the pool for rolling the echo rewards. You still have to uncover them and drop the boots you want.
So best way is to pick that timeline and go as deep into it as you can to get a higher chance for unique item and unique boots rewards.
Thanks, these unique boots rewards are randomly rewarded in the extra cache after clearing an echo, not the overhead hanging rewards which are specific
Think i got it now. I had an old set of the echoes where it would only say set or unique but now that i have reset it i see i have an option for “unique boots.” Sorry for the confusion!
