What went wrong?
Just dropped a Red Ring of Atlaria from Aberoth as MG, put in weavers tree (to have a higher chance to drop it while playing) and then gifted to a friend so he could do the same. Get it gifted back to see it that it has the “Cannot be traded” tag and that its on my tree as well… Dont even use it in my build so its useless to me

I didnt see if it had the tag before gifting but IF thats the case then the question is:
How did it get the “Cannot be traded” tag (not even the mg cannot be traded one you get after buying something off the market as seen in the screenshot at the bottom).
Is it because of the gifting?
If so, why does my weaver tree also show it as that because i put it in there because gifting it. If not, why did this super expensive ring which would help me a lot by selling, drop as an untradable item??
I would appreciate some help on this matter a lot. Looking forward to the response!

Do you have the Red Ring in your weaver tree to target farm it? When you use the weaver nodes that let you put an item in to have a higher drop chance for on the weaver tree I think those will drop with that tag.
Nope, got it as a fresh drop from aberoth. I also looked up if gifting would make it so that my item would get the untradable tag and that isnt the case. So then i actually got it with the untradable tag on it which is inexplainable by everyone ive talked to. Hopefully some staff/mods around that could help me out with this. After testing a for a while, i got it as a drop from an echo reward (cuz i now do have it in my weaver tree) and that also has the same tag so i literally got one of the rarest items as MG and cant even sell it and have zero use for it in my build.
I have found the problem, it is because of gifting it to a friend that it got the “Cannot be traded” tag. I had place the ring in my weavers tree before it had the tag and that getting it back made it so that it updated the ring on my weavers tree as well. So the glitch took place at the items in the weavers tree being linked to the live version of the item and not an imprint of the version as inserted. So hopefully that made some sense. I still want my fucking tradable ring on the weavers tree back though. Would still like to hear from some staff/mods about this.
