Umbral Blades / Bladestorm

Friends, earlier restrictions were imposed on the simultaneous existence of the number of Bladestorm equal to 3. This was due to the fact that a large number of them could hit the same target and it was unbalanced.
Later, a restriction was introduced that only one Bladestorm can hit the same target.

Now I have only 3 Bladestorm, which are aimed at one target, but only one of them hits the target.

I have a question. is it possible to make that they are not aimed at the same target?
Or if they remain so stupid, can we return their former number?

The restriction was due to too much dps (presumably with Shadow Daggers) so it was a reasonable nerf, but yes, given that nerf, a lifting of the max number of bladestorms would be nice.

I’m a bit baffled by all of this. But, given my comprehension of the game that should come as no surprise.

If you don’t take the ‘seek’ node, I can throw the three bladestorms in all sorts of directions. Even with the seek node it takes them a while to get to the same enemy.

Also, you recall them every 2-4 mouse clicks anyway, so can you just recall and throw out three new ones?

What would be the purpose of having more of them out, especially if you fighting an end boss between mob spawns?

It is very rare to throw three blades manually.
With shadows it is very easy to throw more than 3 blades with a single click.
Each shadow throws them when you use the skill, and there is a node that causes shadows to leave a blade behind when they expire.
The issue is that the shadows aim in the same location as you when they copy a skill. Given that the blades cannot shotgun, if multiple blades end up in the same place these extra blades are completely useless.

As for purpose, more blades would make clear smoother, and you don’t have to worry about blades overriding each other.

It would also likely be a big buff to the explosive variant.
However, I must say that I do not recall exactly how the explosion works with the limit of 3 blades, so I might be wrong on this.

In no way is the explosion limited by the number of Bladestorms.
Any number of blades can cause damage at the moment of attack. (if you have 5 shadows, you will deal 6 hits)
Then all blades except 3 are destroyed.
If you take the explosion node, all self-destructed blades explode and cause damage.
Blades that do not self-destruct, explode against the target, also causing damage.

Technically, the limit on the number of existing blades in the case of a node for explosions will only change the moment of the explosion, from automatic to the moment of contact with the enemy.

I clearly do not play enough Rogue stuff because I have to admit this is how I always do it. I toss out my blades to various different enemies. They spin. I teleport and recall them all, then toss them back out. I can’t keep up with what my shadows are doing so just assume their doing their thing. Old man eyes. Old man brain.
