I go back and forth between .8 and .7 HUD scaling (immersive exp.)
“+X” added to forge…" floating text to scale with UI scaling selection 85%, 80%, 75%, etc.
Mini-Map scaling as an individual option?

I believe it always does this already, except in empowered monoliths because those are always level 100 and it shows the corruption level instead (which is the scaling factor).

They always said they would add one for free if they added this. I don’t think they do because I believe every different edition you can buy of LE comes with a pet anyway.

Either way, this is something suggested a lot and something they don’t really want to do.
I’d guess they would prefer to increase radius than have pets pick it up. Probably because some people don’t want to have pets following them (they can often be confused with mobs) and with this they’d be forced to.

I always have to toggle between the large overlay map and the mini-map to see this actually. Maybe its because I play in the reduced UI mode. It’s more important while leveling.

I personally don’t understand how people can play with the overlay map enabled all the time, so I only use it to scan large areas, but most of the time I play with the mini-map view.

Ah, I see. I always use the overlay. I don’t like having to look away from the fights to see the layout. It’s a good way to get surprised by some ground effect.

In that case, yes, it should always show the area level, even with minimap.
