I will preface and say i have roughly 700 hours its by far my most played ARPG. ive been increasingly frustrated with the game detecting SOME device on my computer as a controller on launch, making it so i cannot interact with ANYTHING. the only things plugged into my computer are; my keyboard, Mouse, Headset/mic combo, monitors, and my wifi adapter. even if i restart my computer the game will boot, tell me a controller is detected, and i cant click on the UI at all. I can SOMETIMES temporarily fix this by plugging in a controller and unplugging it, which is annoying but not the end of the world. However sometimes even that doesnt work, as when i disconnect the controller and my cursor finally shows back up in the game window, nothing in the menu responds with the actual UI. Ive searched the forums, reddit, general google searches, youtube, etc. i dont see this bug regularly reported and would like to know if anyone else is struggling with this. i basically just have to Alt+ f4 the game on average 10+ times to even LOG IN. and sometimes it logs into my character and then i cannot interact with any NPCs, or click on any UI elements and show menus. if i hit the del key that usually HIDES the UI it hides it and then brings up another window that i cant close.
Curious if anyone else struggles with this seemingly niche issue. or if the devs are aware or if there is a fix.
