I can’t kill the Uber Abberoth on this build, what am I doing wrong? At most, I reached 64% of his life, and that was it.

Short answer: Because your build’s survivability is incomplete, you’re reliant on positioning and your sustain is lacking.

Long answer:

  • Your Crit Avoidance isn’t 100%.
  • How do you heal? I see only leech from Swipe and ~140 HP regen. So basically every time those black holes, pools, lasers, etc. force you out of melee range, you stop healing. That’s bad. You would have to learn the Ubby fight very well and pre-position yourself in such ways so that those effects always leave you empty space at the boss to leech from him.
  • HP is lacking. 1LP items are nice, but you should invest some time into farming 2-3LP. For example your Boots, Belt, Chest, Gloves, both Rings, Amulet.
  • Your shield only works in 4 metres. Without standing very close, your Block Chance is 14%. Cosmetic shield much? :smiley: I’m pretty sure you aren’t in the 4 metres range on Ubby all the time.
  • Why don’t you have Inheritance of the Erased? Big survivability boost for you and the Bear, and if you put Crit Multi on it, big big DPS boost for Bear.
  • Why don’t you have Cornered Beast in Primalist tree?
  • Mana and Endurance Threshold blessing? Why? Those should be HP Regen and %Armor.

i think you are following maxroll guide which has so low dps that is unbelievable how terrible that build guide is.

i have killed uber 100+ times. It takes about 1 minute to kill.

You dont need LP2-3s i was still killing with all LP1. You can put LP2 helmet with health to increase surviviblity.

This build i only use it to farm uber. Echo farming with any bear build terrible anyways.
I am seeing 150mil damage popin from that bear.

Agreed that the Maxroll guide for Bear is extremely low DPS, and i don’t really see that much better defensive. I swapped over to similar to what Tala has and my damage shot through the roof. I’m running Frenzy totem and never tried Wolves. Gonna give it a go today just to see if the difference is noticeable.

I recommend making another character for mapping and keep the Bear BM for exclusively bossing. You can put the Rampant Coast imprint into your BM’s weaver tree and go mostly after those.

Strength of this build vs Uber is zerging it down before it does anything crazy. Just focus on offensive stats other than capping basic stuff like resistance; most of the relevant stuff he does is one shot anyway and you can just dodge them. There’s a reason this is probably the best bossing build this season and it’s not because of defensives.

Yes i was about to give up on Bear i looked at other builds and turns out Maxroll guide is just terrible lol.

I thought about it and not tried the frenzy totem but should be somewhat similiar i dont know much about totem tree i will check it out.

Agreed, specially for uber farm it is pain to farm uber if your kill takes longer than 3-5 minutes. Bear literally stun locks uber and you just wait out the animations takes less than 60 seconds lol
