Turning off SAF

So I understand that I’m sacrificing all of my crafting materials and everything in my stash. Do I lose my stash tabs? What about things in my inventory? If I pull items out of my stash and put them into my inventory do they disappear when I uncheck SAF?

I’m not looking to trade things, just looking to party up with friends who joined later than me.

Yes, your character no longer has access to the SAF stash.
