Translation Bugs in Portuguese: Gender, Repetition, Missing Subtitles

Hello,

I decided to play through the story while reading most of the dialogues to better understand the lore, but I noticed some issues with the translations (in my case, Portuguese).

  1. Gender tags in dialogues
In many conversations, the translation shows tags like [m] [f], with the text duplicated only changing the gender of the character. This seems to appear quite often and makes the dialogues feel broken.

  2. Repeated dialogue blocks
In some cases, the dialogue text does not match the audio properly. For example, the NPC starts by reading only the first sentence of a block, and then in the next interaction the remaining part of the same block is repeated. It feels like the text wasn’t split correctly during translation, causing the lines to overlap across multiple conversations.

  3. Missing subtitles in cutscenes
During some important scenes (like Heorot vs Rahyeh), there are voice lines but no subtitles. It would be great if subtitles could be added there, even if just as green text in the chat log, so players who rely on reading can follow the story.

Unfortunately, I don’t have screenshots to show these bugs. I only realized at the end of my playthrough that I should make this report, since I really wanted to focus on the story itself. Still, I think these issues deserve attention for players in other languages (Portuguese in my case).

Thanks for your time, and sorry if my English isn’t perfect — I’m not a native speaker, so I asked ChatGPT to help me adapt my report for the forum.
