I wanted to do the arena tournament this weekend hosted by visiongl however I would battle to be competitive as I only have the time to play for about 24hrs each weekend what with other interests.
This got me thinking why not do a once a month 24hr speed run competition, sounds cool, right but what would the prize be ??
What about a golden wyren pet, winner gets a golden wyren 
I would compete for a baby dragon, but why would the winnner want to win again if they already had the dragon, what if we could enhance the wyren on each win now thatās a prize, each consecutive win would scale the winners wyren pet somehowā¦ size, color, speed, aura etc

Itād be cool but these tournaments are not official, they are organized by comunity, and the reasons of why there arenāt better prizes is because there is no way for organizers to check if someone used cheats since winners are based on ladder ranking.
Surely 11th hour can tell if someone has cheated and award the legitimate winner the prize or if it is discovered that they did cheat later then redistribute the prize leaving the cheater empty handed, shamed and banned , Games have logs, I also donāt think it is mathematically possible to level to 100 in 24 hours so the winner would be whoever got the furthest (game progression and character level). Iām sure thereās many unforeseen problems but it would be a start and i think a great way to empower the community
It is possible to reach level 100 in 24 hours however it requires you to have juiced up gear ready and super op build. (24 hours to 100 in ssf just is not possible)
As for tournament with prizes
Once multiplayer launches i expect us to see tournaments with prize pools
Right now the ladder is too unreliable to do anything (Mainly ladder related bugs)

Donāt get me wrong I love tournaments and races but even if 11th could do that itād take time and resources to verify and Iām sure they are busy with game updates. But once multiplayer comes out they will organize official races for sure. They actually did it a couple of times in 2019. Those were streamer races tho. The requirement to stream is actually a really good way to legitimize a winner.
surely reviewing stream feeds takes more time than adding a feature to just lock ghosts out of the arena Iām sure they have a plan, I suggested a golden wyvern prize as the people involved in these tournaments are putting a lot of hours into the game as well as Iām sure contributing their findings to the forum, a prize could motivate a 24 hr tournament as a way for weekend warriors to contribute and as a way to motivate new streamers and reward the current ones. thank you for contributing , looking forward to multiplayer
