Good day, i decided to revive my torment build and before i go slamming gear i just want to check something. Before i go slamming things.
So torment scaling tags (according to LETools) are just necrotic and spell. Which usually means those are (generally) the only affix’s that help it.
I need to confirm if the parent/child relation ship will make intelligence stacking increase torments damage. The inheritance would come from the 4% dmg increase to chaotic fissure (parent) per one intelligence apply to tormented souls (torment dmg(child))
The second question does flat (generic) spell damage, of which you can get on humble idols/wand implicit/swords suffix apply to torments damage. Or just the curse flat damage, of which you can find on grand idols.
Added damage for the Spirits applies at 30% effectiveness.
Torment applies 18% less movement speed (multiplicative with other modifiers), deals 120 damage over 3 seconds and added damage applies at 200% effectiveness per second.
Base Damage:
6 Necrotic
Critical Chance: 5%
Critical Multiplier: 200%
Added Damage Effectiveness: 30%
Is a Hit
100% chance to apply Torment to enemies
Torment
A Curse that deals spell necrotic damage over time and reduces movement speed (multiplicative with other modifiers)
Duration: 3 seconds
Max stacks: 1
Base Damage: 120 Necrotic (over time)
Effects:
18% less Movement Speed
Increased Effect applies additional Necrotic Penetration
Scaling tags: Spell/ Damage Over Time/ Curse
Side-note: I believe Torment WL also benefits from Necrotic Resistance stacking. That was the case before the nerfs at least. E.g. with “Twisted Waves” node in Chthonic Fissure and “Boneclamor Barbute” unique.
Yes that’s in the chaotic fissure tree its a 3/3 node that adds 3% more torment dmg per 3% nec res overcap. Also a 1/1 node3 that does 1% more per 1% crit multi.
So it is not just spell n curse
And it is 1/sec and 100% eff, but as for other curses - unclear
Should count flat for dot spell and flat for curses. Not sure about flat spell dmg(necrotic or adaptive)
Spirit Plague is the only DoT skill (on Acolyte at least) that doesn’t mention added damage effectiveness, all the other ones specify a % (which isn’t 100%).
I’m currently looking at LE tools, and it shows that added spell damage is applied with 150% effectiveness. But torment is applied with 200% effectiveness. Spiritual Plague only applies added spell damage, and torment doesn’t have the word “spell.” Does this mean that the added flat damage over time and added flat damage from curses will be applied to torment? So if you have +20 curse damage, its effectiveness won’t be applied to Spiritual Plague?
