Currently, the tool tips have some info on what modifiers/stats do what for damage but misses a lot of affixes.
For example, minions don’t really have any values for damage or what affixes affect damage.
DoTs and Buffs don’t really have any icons or indicators of what they’re providing some that are passive based do show.
For example, I have no idea how bleed/ingite stacks, how many are stacked, time of the stacks, as well as what damage it’s doing or if my minions are even applying anything.
This would greatly help with building as well as having a better understanding of the core game.
These suggestions have been made many times on the forums already and the devs have been mulling them over for a while now without giving us any concrete answers as to if or how they would include these kinds of things and what kinds of impact these would have on the game performance and the general cluttering of the UI…
With all the changes coming in 0.8.2 (and more tool tip updates) I figure that some of the ideas will appear but who knows…
Oh I’m absolutely loving the game!
I feel like one way for the DoTs to not clutter up too much of the screen, if you highlight the enemy to show the health bar at the top it’ll list the dots as well as the stack number on it.
For the tooltips, we already have a show more function so having that with potentially a scroll bar to keep the tooltip the same vertical length would also remove the clutter.
I’m so excited to see the minion changes next week and see if I can move my wraith build to the suicide zombies and mess with that
