Would like to see the ability to toggle the weapon slots like you can in poe. So you can habe a weapon for single target and a weapon for trash mobs. Or mana regen and more damage. This would be very useful when you hit a patch of mobs that have a high resist to your normal damage type you could toggle weapons with just the hit of a key.
Would also like to see an affix for weapons that reduces dodge chance on hit. As there isnt any currently implemented ways to reduce am enemies dodge chance.
I think Iām currently against the idea of adding a 2nd set of weapons to swap. Unless implemented with some type of penalty, maybe a cooldown to all skills, but please donāt make us snapshot our stats for buffs by constantly switching weapons.
How would you handle something like serpent strike without a polearm? Obviously the skill wouldnāt be usable when you swap away, but should swapping unsummon Primal Serpents?
What about Ring of Shields? Should I be able to summon them with my wielded shield for the stats, then wield a 2hander? Should the summoned shields snapshot my stats or change dynamically? I would lean towards dynamically.
If you want to maintain the keyboard piano that would enable you to take full advantage of snapshotting bonus damage (or whatever) with several skills, more power to you IMOā¦
Are you saying you are for adding a weapon swap with snapshotting included as a strategy? That you donāt mind if the option is there, but you wouldnāt use itself yourself?
I personally donāt want to snapshot, but swapping weapons that enforces a cooldown to all skills might work as a limited strategy.
I dont want snapshotting either, but what i do want in a dynamic enviroments is lets say your running a straight hit build (No DoT) like shatterstrike spellbalde and every few seconds you need a few seconds to focus and recharge mana. Well in this time a mob that has an affix regenerate health or regenerate helath when not recently damaged is hard. So i would like to be able to easily swap to my back up weapon that applies a small dosage of DoT (say 1 stack of frostbite) so i can recharge mana and not have to keep fighting down the same portion of health. I dont want the benefits from both weapons at the same time, but i do wanan be able to just push āxā and switch weapons so in cases like this i could change when im just about out of mana apply a DoT and then recharge mana with out the mob regeneration as much health.
Yeeees please! I would also love to see a way to do that! Maybe with some restrictions, I dont know what the devs find best. But it would be so cool, to be able to do that.
Ermā¦ werenāt you able to unequip polearm after summoning a serpent? I tought it didā¦ or maybe i remember wrong. Been awhile since i last used that skill.
Could give weapon swap a fairly decent cooldown so that it canāt be abused.
