Ha!

Step 1: Llama makes a comment about evil corporations
Step 2: I respond with greed and fucking people over not being proprietary to corporations
Step 3: Enter discussion about human nature
Step 4: Solid ties the entire thing back to TQ2 via Greek mythos
Step 5: Profit

side-note: No shard auto-pick or trade discussions were harmed during this thread.

I’m so glad you included this. I fear the hounds being unleashed had this not being clearly, and dutifully, noted.

:face_vomiting::face_vomiting::face_vomiting::face_vomiting: can’t stand Earl Grey, ever since I went camping with some friends from school before we all left for uni & one of the girls brought some with her & that was all we had…

See, that’s weird. I guess what you like is kind of based on what you had as a kid or what’s novel to where you are.

I only really started drinking Earl Grey in my late teens, early 20’s. The flavor profile is really great to me because I enjoy things sweeter than I should. Really just a good excuse to consume cane sugar, haha.

For me, coffee is simply a vessel for enormous quantities of sugar and cream, its the American way!

Yuck. Speak for yourself. I like my coffee like I like my whisky. Neat.

Apparently I like my coffee like I like my woman, obese and diabetic.

I see you are one of the “I’ll take a little coffee with my cream and sugar” people…

As for me, I like my women like I like my milk… cold and white (throwback to my days when I was into goth/vampire girls).

Why would someone ever stop being into those? …I dunno, maybe we shouldn’t get into it. lol

In before TQ2 is full of gothic vampire ladies.

If it wasn’t obvious, I am not a fan of coffee. The few times I have had it, the nutritional label of the concoction I made would laugh a can of Coke no doubt.

Suck me dry girl, take that as far as all your perverse minds will

That is because you are a civilised, cultured person.

HR tend to get a bit, agitated, when I do…

I am the same. The one time I tried it, before a very early morning of electrical work, I think I put in about 10 spoons of sugar, and still couldnt get past the taste of the coffee.

My uncivilised barbaric soul orders a neat double espresso every time - its such a part of my routine that I am unlikely to frequent a place more than once if it has crap java. Just whatever you do, don’t put bloody flavoured syrup, fake milks in my coffee unless you want a berserk rage.

My Italian roomie would agree with you. I don’t see it though. I have never understood why people want something THAT bitter. I get that it’s based on novelty because bitter things are usually poisonous or toxic in nature. But to me, coffee is way on the other end away from delightful. It has a strong metallic flavor to me. (Yes, I’ve had the real imported Italian brand from our local Italian market he gets, IE Lavazza. They make it there in the store as well.)

Imported italien brand? Where I’m from Lavazza is crap for pad machines. Koffee Kult and Kicking Horse does the trick if you want neat whole beans to grind down fresh. Then again I need that stuff a friend of mine brings home in a paper bag when he was in columbia. No idea if those beans even have a name or if they are allowed in my country because my heart is pounding after a cup of that liquid tar.

That sounds like a different thing, haha.

I mean, supposedly Lavazza is the best store brand you can get here. I will mention those to my roomie but I’m not sure they’re Italian enough for him, haha. That’s kind of an issue for some folks from other places, is their thing they like has to be the one from the same place.

Though, hearing you say that does cause me to think that caffeine addiction might be part of the reason people are into this stuff. lol
