Titan Heart and Staves

Hi, i’m new to the game and i’d like to know if titan heart can be used with a staff for the 15% damage reduction bonus

Titan Heart is way older than the new MoF Unique Rewards, but those have 2 distinct categorizations:
Melee Weapons (Reign Of Dragons)
Caster Weapons (The Stolen Lance)

According to those categorization Staves are caster weapons.
So I would assume no, you would not benefit from the DR from Titn Heart.

But you would need to test that.

Testing should be easy if you grab any incoming DoT source, since that does not have the +-25% variation.

Currently not at home so I can’t test it to give you certainty.

But I would say no.

I tested it out and Titan Heart seems to work with Staves.
