When catching up on Corruption in a base timeline the main strategy is to beeline for an outermost Orobyss node (+16/18 corruption). It is incredibly annoying and frustrating when your timeline web keeps having dead ends with only +10/12 corruption (as shown in the image), so you have to start over in another direction. I feel that every direction should end up with atleast one 16/18 node even if it is locked behind some annoying modifiers like Crit avoidance/ Frenzy. These 16/18 nodes are more important as they also give more bonus corruption which makes 10/12 nodes wasteful during catchup.
Its also somewhat annoying that Gaze of Orobyss gives much less corruption after 2 stacks making climbing corruption bit of a slog. Earlier, it may have been needed to ensure player’s don’t push too far accidentally. But now that we have the easily accessible Corruption decreasing node close to the start is it really needed?
